Wednesday’s donation brings the total invested to HBCUs by Nissan to over $1 million.

“Nissan recognizes that STEM education is critical to developing the next generation of innovators,” Jeffrey Webster, director of diversity and inclusion with Nissan North America, said.

“We are proud of to continue our commitment to Mississippi’s HBCUs with another $250,000 grant this year.” The seven schools receiving money include: Alcorn State University, Coahoma Community College, Hinds Community College-Utica Campus, Jackson State University, Mississippi Valley State University, Rust College, and Tougaloo College.
