Minority Business Alliance holds “Business and Burgers”

Minority business leaders in Meridian got together Thursday evening to enjoy a night of networking.

The Minority Business Alliance is a program started under the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation. It serves as a platform for minority owned businesses to come and get information, network with one another, and share ideas. The alliance meets once a month, but they say they wanted to do something a little different than the traditional meetings

“I think it’s beneficial because people will come in more relaxed. In the meetings, I think they come in to gather information. It’s more structured in our meetings,” said Angelique Adams, chief of the Meridian Minority Business Alliance.

The Minority Business Alliance meets every third Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. at Union Station.
